Most corporate gifts have a half-life of about one afternoon. The branded pen goes in a drawer and the tote bag goes in the closet with the other tote bags, which is a strange amount of money to spend teaching someone where your logo should live in their house.
A candle gets used. Someone lights it on a Tuesday night, it fills the room, and for the next 45 hours or so your gift is the first thing they notice when they walk in the door. That’s why we make custom Meet Haus candles for companies, foundations and city offices, hand-poured in Baltimore, and here are five reasons custom corporate candles work when most gifts don’t.
1. They actually get burned
Nobody owns too many good candles, so a candle doesn’t get regifted or shoved in a drawer the way a fourth tumbler does. A 9 oz Meet Haus candle burns for 45 to 55 hours, and it’s built with a strong throw, so it scents a whole living room rather than the six inches around the jar. Every one of those hours is a reminder of who sent it, which is a better return than any pen has earned.
2. The scent can carry an address
Every Meet Haus scent comes from a real Baltimore neighborhood. Mt. Vernon opens on peppercorn and settles into leather and juniper. Druid Hill is dry citrus over sandalwood, Inner Harbor is violet and marine over tonka, and Fell’s Point is sea salt, moss and cedar. If your company has roots here, or your clients do, a candle named for a place they actually know says something a logo can’t.
If you want a scent nobody else can buy, we can build one for your organization. That’s for orders of 36 or more, with a $200 setup and up to two rounds of revisions.
3. Your logo, without the trade-show look
Your logo goes on the label where ours would sit, on the same jar with the same restraint, so the candle still looks like something a person would keep on a shelf. Logo labels have a $50 setup, and you supply print-ready artwork. If you’d rather give the candle as we make it, there’s no setup fee at all.
4. They arrive ready to hand over
Every candle is packed in a kraft or black paper tube, so it shows up ready to give and nobody on your team spends a Friday afternoon hunting for ribbon. Add a room spray as a second piece if you want the gift to reach past one room. The wax is soy and the fragrance oils are phthalate-free, which matters more than it used to when the gift is going to a client’s home.
5. Ordering is simple
The minimum is 24 candles at $24.95 each, and the price drops to $22.46 each at 36 or more. You tell us the occasion, the quantity and the date, I confirm the date and send a quote, you approve the label or scent in writing, and we pour. Production takes two to three weeks from a confirmed start, and a custom scent can take longer depending on revisions.
The Rockefeller Foundation and the City of Baltimore both gifted with us in 2026. One customer who gave them as holiday gifts wrote:
“Multiple people went out of their way to comment on how good they smelled, which says a lot. They ended up being the perfect addition to our holiday gifts and felt thoughtful, high-quality, and intentional.” C Keller, verified review
